About Millbrook Junior School

Danielle Warren

On behalf of everyone at Millbrook Juniors I would like to welcome you to our school. Thank you for visiting our website; it will keep you informed about school life and enable you to find out more about the exciting learning opportunities we provide. Millbrook Junior School is a four-form entry school for pupils in Year 3 to Year 6. We have approximately 470 children on roll.

We are one of three large schools located next to one another on the Ise Lodge estate in Kettering. Our children mainly transfer from Millbrook Infant School and, when they leave us, move on to a range of schools in the Kettering and beyond.

At Millbrook Junior School we aim to create strong, positive relationships and partnerships with all members of our community-staff, Governors, parents/carers and pupils. We want children to develop a love of learning and our ethos is centred on four key words: Dream, Believe, Aspire, Achieve.

Our aim is for children to be fully engaged in their learning. We provide an exciting curriculum enhanced with visits and visitors. Children are encouraged to reflect on their learning and regularly undertake self and peer assessment.

We are delighted to be able to offer wrap around provision from 7.30am to 5.30pm through Premier Sports. Our Friends of Millbrook School (FOMS) group arrange numerous activities throughout the year providing fun activities and raising additional funds for our school. If you have any questions or would like to visit the school please get in touch by phoning the school office (01536 517049) or by emailling us through the contact page on this website. Thank you for taking an interest in our school.
