Welcome to Millbrook Junior School
On behalf of everyone at Millbrook Juniors, I would like to welcome you to our school. Thank you for visiting our website; it will keep you informed about school life and enable you to find out more about the exciting learning opportunities we provide. Millbrook Junior School is a multi-form entry school for pupils in Year 3 to Year 6. We have approximately 400 children on roll.
We are one of three large schools located next to one another on the Ise Lodge estate in Kettering.
Our children mainly transfer from Millbrook Infant School and, when they leave us, move on to a range of schools in the Kettering area and beyond.
At Millbrook Junior School we aim to create strong, positive relationships and partnerships with all members of our community-staff, Governors, parents/carers and pupils. We want children to develop a love of learning whilst following our three rules: Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe. Our ethos is centred on four key words: Dream, Believe, Aspire, Achieve and we use ‘The Five Hands’ to help us achieve it.
Our aim is for children to be fully engaged in their learning. We provide an exciting curriculum enhanced with visits and visitors. Children are encouraged to reflect on their learning and regularly undertake self and peer assessment.
Our FOMS (Friends of Millbrook Junior School) group arrange numerous events throughout the year providing fun activities and raising additional funds for our school.
If you have any questions or would like to visit the school please get in touch by phoning the school office (01536 517049) or by emailing through the website. Thank you for taking an interest in our school.

Safeguarding your Child
The safeguarding of your children here at Millbrook Junior School is of paramount importance to us.
Everyone at Millbrook Junior School has a responsibility to keep our children safe and protected. If you have any concerns about the welfare of any child in our school, or you wish to discuss any aspect of safeguarding, please speak with our Designated Safeguarding Lead (Mrs Danielle Warren) or one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (Mrs Karen Harrison, Lorraine Walker, Nicola Farnworth or Bekie Lewis).
Mrs Kelly Pearson is our online safety lead. If you have a concern you can speak to her or you can click on the CEOP button (right) to report suspicious individuals or behaviour directly to law enforcement quickly and easily. The reports go directly to their intelligence centre and the team there are then in best place to analyse, assess and take appropriate action according to the perceived risk and threat to an individual child.
